SSC CPO SI: Staff Selection commission conduct recruitment exam every year for sub inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) .

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality
    • A citizen of India, or
    • A subject of Nepal, or
    • A subject of Bhutan, or
    • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • Educational Qualification
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
    • For the placement as Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates should hold a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date set for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be permitted to undertake Physical Endurance and Standard Tests
    • Degrees obtained by the candidates through Universities/ Distance Education should be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU.
    •  Candidates will be eligible they are able to prove by documentary evidence that their result was declared on or before the cut-off date and they have passed the exam.
  • Age Limit –For the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years.

  • Interview

Physical Efficiency (Endurance) Test (PET):

Candidates will have to undergo the following test during the endurance test. It is essential for the candidates to qualify the following test:
