Staff selection Commission – Combined graduate level examination is taken on national level every year to recruit for various posts like Assistant grade, Auditors/inspector of income tax/central Excise, sub inspector in central police organizations and CBI and upper division clerks, divisional accounts. SSC’s  CGL exam is for filling up vacancies in 30 different services in the central government.

SSC CGL EXAM PATTERN:

 

Every year SSC (Staff Selection Commission) Conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) in four levels for various posts. The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as follows:

There will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer in Tier- I. 
There will be negative marking of 0.25 for Paper II and 0.50 for paper I & paper III.

Eligibility Criteria:

The basic educational qualification required for most of the posts in SSC CGL exam is a Bachelor‟s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.
